Hello,
My name’s Mélissa but I’m most known as “Miiko” on the internet and I decided to submit a drawing
for SHO-YOU. And to be sure you know, I’m french, so if my english’s not perfect, please, forgive me.
What I feel about this project:
I saw this event on Deviantart thanks to Oceanchan (‘cause i’ve “watch” her), I went to seethe full explanations on your journal and I thought “I would like to do this” Not only because my art would beseen by plenty of persons, but because this project could help many people. I’ve never done anything like thatbefore (my art being featured in an artbook) and to know that my first try would be for a good cause, thatmakes me really happy. I don’t know if you’ll take my drawing or not but still, I would have at leastdrawn it with all my heart.
A little more about myself :
So, you already know, my real name’s Mélissa, I’m french and a fifthteen years old girl.I’d say I started drawing seriously when I was seven years old. I’m also singing on Youtube but that’s not really important here… To draw, I’m using Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop CSmost of the time, but I also have Manga Studio debut 4.0. I’m using a Wacom Bamboo Fun and Touch.
My magical girl is:
Musical ! That’s the right adjective for her =w=.Why music ? Because music isn’t just sounds. It’s emotions. So I thought that a magical girlwho can reunites people with her song and voice is an interesting idea. (There’s already MermaidMelody but whatever). I also like singing so XD
Her oufits are really differents from typical magical girls because, I just wanted to see a magicalgirl with futuristic clothes. The little blue haired girl is the mascot who gaves her her new powers.She doesn’t have legs because, If I’m not wrong, in Japanesse culture, ghost doesn’t have legs.
She’s kind of a ghost so…She can fly and, the flying objects around her are her weapons ^^
